Legacy Course Upgrade
For an eligible student who previously completed the same mapped course with Funda and wants to return to its current improved version.
Funda Online Academy continues to improve its learning platform, course content, assessments and student support. The Legacy Student Programme is our structured pathway for eligible former students who want to return, restart previous learning or upgrade their learning experience under the Academy's current academic system.
Legacy verification is completed securely as part of the Academy enrolment journey after you choose the current course you want to study.
The programme recognises that former students return for different reasons. The benefit is determined by the verified historical record and the relationship between that record and the current course selected.
For an eligible student who previously completed the same mapped course with Funda and wants to return to its current improved version.
For an eligible student who previously paid for the same mapped course but did not complete it and now wants to restart.
For an eligible former student with a verified previously completed Funda course who is returning to study a different current course.
Verification connects your previous Funda record to the current course you want to study. This makes sure the correct benefit is applied to the correct student and protects the integrity of the Academy's academic and financial records.
Browse the current course catalogue and select the course you want to study now. Legacy eligibility cannot be determined correctly without the current course choice.
Continue through the Academy's current enrolment journey using your own student account so the verification can be linked to the correct learner.
Provide the previous-study details and required evidence inside the Academy's Legacy verification step. The system checks the relevant historical record before a Legacy fee can be applied.
If matched, the applicable pathway is confirmed. If an automatic match is not available, the case can move to manual Academy review. Payment and final course approval then follow the current process.
The result depends on the verified historical record. A discount is not unlocked simply because a person identifies as a former student.
A verified completed record for the same mapped course may receive the 70% Legacy Course Upgrade.
A verified paid-but-incomplete record for the same mapped course may receive the 50% Restart Benefit.
A former student with a verified completed Funda course who selects a different current course may receive the 25% Returning Student Benefit.
The claim can be routed for manual Academy verification. Discounted payment remains unavailable until the claim is resolved.
First-time students, or cases that do not meet a Legacy pathway after verification, continue at the current standard course fee.
These answers explain the programme at a public-information level. Individual eligibility is confirmed only through the Academy's verification process.
It is intended for eligible former Funda Online Academy students whose previous study can be verified and whose circumstances meet the applicable programme conditions.
No. Eligibility must first be verified. The benefit depends on the student's verified previous course history and the programme conditions that apply to that case.
No. Current registration, enrolment, payment, approval and course requirements still apply. The programme determines an eligible Legacy benefit; it does not replace the normal academic or administrative process.
Possibly. The 25% Returning Student Benefit applies to an eligible former student who has a verified previously completed Funda course and is now enrolling in a different current course, subject to verification and the applicable programme terms.
If the verified historical record shows that you paid for the same mapped course but did not complete it, you may qualify for the 50% Restart Your Previous Course pathway. The Academy must verify the relevant record and evidence first.
The Academy considers the current course mapping together with the verified historical record. Course content, assessments, names and requirements may have changed as the Academy improved its academic system, so the current mapping is used to determine the correct pathway.
Your case may be routed for manual Academy verification. A discounted payment pathway remains unavailable until the relevant evidence has been reviewed and the claim has been resolved.
